Letošnja zima je bila kar obilna kar se tiče snežnih padavin v gorah pa tudi veliko snežnih plazov kar je eden od pogojev za nastanek Matkovega škafa.Ker sem dobil informacijo na hribi net da je škaf že nastal in da je precej velik ter globok kar nekaj zadnjih let ni bil.Letos meri v globino 17 metrov.

Bila je lepa majska sobota in moje potepanje v Savinjskih koncih,dopoldan sem prehodil eno neoznačeno pot ter si ogledoval naravno znamenitost o tem v naslednji objavi.Zaradi zelo zgodnje ure sem pot končal okrog 13. ure sem si rekel če sem že tukaj tako blizu si še grem ogledat Škaf.

Vožnja do Matkovega kota ni trajala dolgo le 10 minut in že raztegujem pohodne palice,obuvam gojzarje,veliko ljudi na izhodišču,avtomobilov no za mojega malčka se je še našel prostor.Pot pod noge,po cesti,po produ,po dolini navzgor proti zatrepu.
