Connected diallels: Two groups (1 to 6 and 7 to 12) of individuals are used to form two diallels but they are connected by crossing 4x9, 7x1, 9x3 and 10x2. In the example below, the second diallel also includes some selfs (S) and reciprocals (R) (Fig 5.2):
