The SR/ES must guarantee an acceptable gap with every internal outfit part in which it has some interfaces (door handle, air-bag, console,…). For lack, gaps to be guaranteed are the following ones:
- 5 mm between two fixed parts
- 10 mm between a movable part and a fixed one
If these recommended practices should not be guaranteed, the gaps have to be validated by all concerned departments through appropriated dimension chains.

These requirements are valid for every sunroof position.
