Hello everyone, apologies for the spam,

One of the bedrooms in my 3-bedroom/1-bathroom apartment is currently open and my roommate (a chem PhD student) and I were wondering if anybody would be interested. The year-long lease starts July 1, but we can actually have someone there as early as June 1 (and if anyone would prefer, we could sublet just for the month of June instead of a full year-long lease).

The apartment consists of three bedrooms, a living room, a small but complete kitchen, and a MASSIVE deck that is almost the size of the rest of the apartment.

The apartment is on College and Haste - it's 3 blocks south of campus! It is very close to most of the undergraduate housing - it can get noisy on weekends when there are events (football games and Cal day), but mostly it's pretty calm. There is a bus stop for the 51B that's half a block from our place, which takes you pretty much anywhere you would want to go (Safeway, Trader Joe's, either BART station...).

Rent is $833 a month per person. Electricity and internet are another $40-50/month on average (I'd say that's a high estimate, it depends on the winter energy use). Other utilities (water and garbage) are paid at the end of the lease - the landlord expects them to be maximum another $20/month. Parking is also available for purchase (I'm not sure how much it is though, my guess is around $100/month).
