Well, the series turned 15 years old this year.
Klonoa's first game, Klonoa Door to Phantomile was released in december 1997, it had a intricate balance of 2D gameplay in a beautiful 3D-rendered world. By the time Klonoa 2 was released, around 10 years ago, the series started to enter in some kind of void, and it went worse during the years, today, it's just some underrated forgotten franchise, with a small yet dedicated fanbase around the net/real world.
I don't really care, you know, I really love the series, it has solid gameplay, great soundtrack, great level design ( especially for the extra visions/levels ) and a interesting story ( It's not anything Kingdom Hearts-like, but, It's still good ), so...yeah, it's a shame Klonoa never catch on in the US, the games aren't really challenging, it's just like Kirby, it's not hard, but fun to play, although....Klonoa's voice can get pretty annoying, hearing that goddamn "Wahoo" made me turn down the volume, but it's still a great series, and I love it.
The image just simbolises how forgotten the franchise is, Klonoa is just sitting alone in some kind of birthday "party", I got a bit lazy with the details here, didn't even make a cake for him...
