The systems security engineering framework identifies three contexts within which system
security is addressed: the problem context; the solution context; and the trustworthiness context. Key to the determination of a system being trustworthy secure across all stakeholders and their asset loss concerns is having a common requirements basis to capture the stakeholder objectives for the protection of their assets. That foundation informs both the realization of the solution and the development of the assurance case as the basis for making the trustworthiness determination.
