To achieve the above three research purposes, we collected 1.046 million guest reviews and 114,310 host self-statements in 36 cities from Inside Airbnb. We conduct a text analytical framework of online hosts’ affinity, and compare its association with the number of reviews and its moderating effects on the relationships among ‘sub-ratings and the number of reviews’ and ‘hosts’ listings count, sub-ratings and the number of reviews’.
