Long tail chain type liquid crystalline polymer by the backbone, flexible spacer, mesogenic units and end groups four part composition, wherein the tail chain length of molecular liquid crystal is the major research direction of this subject. It can be predicted that the possible self-assembly of the tail chain is important for the structure and liquid crystal of the whole molecule..
