It is with great pleasure that I invite you to accept status as a Departmental Visitor at The Australian National
Universily (the University) for the period l February 2013 t0 31 April 2013. Please note that this offer does not
constitute an offer of employment with the University.
You will hold this status within the Department of Electronic Materials Engineenng, Research School of Physics and
Engineering, ANU College of Physical and Mathemabcal Sciences unless otherwise determined. The Head of
Department will oversee your activities on behalf of the University.
During the period of your visit you wdl be conducting research and undertaking collaborative work with members of
academic staff in the Department. You will not be required to undertake any formal teaching.
As a status holder you are welcome to make use of the Universitys library resources in addition to any other
resources made available to you by your host College.
The Universily may be able to assist you in finding suitable rental housing through the University Accommodation
Services (UAS). University House also provides short-term hotel style accommodation. Attachment 7 0f this letter of
invitation includes more information about finding suitable accommodation.
