For Fabric Specimen:
Cut a 2 x 6 sample in the warp direction of before wash and after wash fabric.
Mount the two specimens side by side on a white card stock: original sample on the left side and the after wash fabric on the right side.
Mount the card stock (with the specimen) in the 45-degree angle board on the Macbeth Booth using the Daylight.
Place a gray mask provided with the scale over the samples to eliminate any influence of the surrounding areas.
Evaluate the color change using the Gray Scale for Color Change. Record the rating.
