The respondents represented a variety of industries, including industrial products distribution, manufacturing, services, pharmaceuticals, engineering, construction, and telecommunications. T -tests comparing the early (first 30) and late (last 30) respondents revealed no statistically significant differences in firm characteristics (firm size T = −1.32; revenue T = −1.13), project characteristics (duration (T =−0.37) and team size (T =−0.08)), or the number of projects completed by the IT unit for the client department (T = 0.29), suggesting that nonresponse bias was not a persuasive threat.
