1. Use a chair without armrest. The height of the bed and the chair must be the same or similar.
2. Place one foot in front of her feet with your knee against the side of the bed, grasp her elbows, and pull her forward so that her head is tucked under your arm. Please do not exert any pressure on her neck.
3. To lift, direct your weight to your hind leg and swing her around by shifting your weight onto your other leg.
4. Lower her down onto the chair.
