Every adjustment in time f or the completion of the Work shall be b y ord er inwriting signed by Ta ipower.18.3 An y extension of time granted by Taipower to the Contractor shall, except asprovided elsewhere in the Contra ct, be deemed t o be in full compensation andsatisfaction for and in respect of any actual or probable loss or injury sustainedor su stainable b y the Contractor in respect of any matter or thing in connectionwith which such extension shall have been grant ed; and every such extensionshall exonerate the Contractor from claims o r demands of Taipower for or inr espect of any delay during the period of s uch extension but not further orotherwise nor for any delay continuing beyond such period of extension.
