Participants remained within the Nutrition Unit or the CINN for the entire test visit during which only water consumption was permitted (notwithstanding the test-day foods and drinks). Participants received a £120 honorarium upon completion. This study was conducted according to the guidelines laid down in the Declaration of Helsinki, and all procedures involving human subjects were approved by the School of Psychology and Clinical LanguagesEthics Committee. Written and verbal informed consent were obtained and formally recorded.
