We apply dynamic capability theory to a learning-innovation framework; specifically, we propose and test a learning-innovation framework for EE firms regarding: (1) the extent to which learning facilitation enhances the knowledge explorative (KE) capabilities of EE firms; (2) the mediating role of higher-order human capital (HHC) in the relationship between learning facilitation and EE firms’ KE capabilities and (3) the role of exploratory innovation outcomes in the overall performance of EE firms.
