Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland tells the story of Alice, a young girl who follows the White Rabbit into a rabbit hole where she has a lot of strange experiences. She finds that she becomes small and that she is in a room with a small door, swimming in a pool of tears and growing by eating some small cakes. She makes friends with many small animals. The book closes with a happy end: as Alice runs after the White Rabbit, only to find herself awake on a river bank.
What I find most interesting, as a teenager reader of this book, is the use of puns and jokes throughout the stories.Nearly everything has some sort of double meaning. And the book is full of fantastic qualities and imaginative inspiration.I’d highly recommend it to you.
