Although infographics are a useful teaching-learning strategy for all levels of nursing education, these visual stories are not often used by educators. This may be partially due to educators’ inexperience in designing infographic stories and in using the technology.This article offers evidence-informed step-by-step guidelines and resources for using these visual stories to engage learners and simplify complex content and concepts. Infographics are a flexible medium where educators use their expertise to enhance student learning. Using the guidelines and considerations offered by this article will help educators to incorporate this technology in a variety of teaching settings in nursing education.
